2004-01-29 - 11:00 Yesterday I had a great conversation with a friend about healthy eating/living stuff. I've recently changed many habits by changing the basis from which I make those decisions. This is due to many things, which I'll get into in another entry. Mostly it has to do with reading what I consider to be the "Owner's Manual to the Human Body" (though as my friend pointed out we're just renting our bodies). The book is The Ancient Cookfire: How to Rejuvenate Body and Spirit Through Seasonal Foods and Fasting by Carrie L'Esperance. So, at the request of my friend I'll be writing on my diary about my personal experiences, and also sharing more info I find in books/net/the one week yoga retreat I'll be attending next month (with my parents!!! My dad was in-n-out of the hospital this month...we're not sure what's up exactly...more later...pray, okay?) I'll figure out how to do the thing on Diaryland where you can group certain entries together and call it "FOODISM". THen all those entries will be easy to find, and no one has to wade through my other diary entries to get to that. So, this is my intro, the rest will be "FOODISM_1, FOODISM_2, , , ," N-Joy
