with all due respect and gratitude, i herein summarize the vast explanations of Dr. Caroline Myss's wisdom. this is by no means meant to represent the depths of her messages, merely a journal entry for myself for right now, and to reference later.

5 steps to healing, according to the Wisdom of Caroline Myss, PhD:

. . .you have to force yourself to forgive. . .at some point it's gotta occur to you that this is hurting you a lot more than it is them
. . .you'll never wanna do it
. . .you'll never know how good and how precious that feels until after you've done it

. . .you have to redefine healing for yourself. instead of thinking that healing is perfection, think of healing as a day-to-day life journey
. . .look at it as a continuation

. . .stop asking for the reasons things happen as they do

chart a course for the future
. . .make sure it is far from the wound you are 'using'. see yourself create another lifepath for yourself; imagine yourself in another direction and literally force yourself to do that

and the last step is to sit around and have people witness your wound three times; and that's it. don't go overboard, don't use anything else. it's three times; three times and you're done. and literally watch what happens after that. don't let yourself slip into passages in which you find yourself needing more and more support. "now i've been heard. now i've been witnessed, now i have to get on with m y healing
